The AIL Difference

• AIL is fully organized with all members belonging to Communications, Energy, and Paperwork Union of Canada, Local 247.
• AIL works primarily with union members and their families. Presently there are more than two million union members as policyholders.
• AIL supports the labour movement in both word and deed. Each year, AIL donates hundreds of thousands of dollars to the projects of the labour movement (scholarship funding, funding for Health and Safety Education, strike foundation assistance, etc.).
• AIL has created programs geared to the needs of union members. For example, our programs include both strike and layoff waiver of premium.
